• Provide a rich scientific environment within which new cluster faculty and campus members interested in origins of life and exoplanet/habitability questions can thrive
• Foster scientific exchange, collaboration, and innovation
• Advance origins of life and astrobiology education at UW
• Engage public interest in the origin and distribution of life in the Universe, in the spirit of the Wisconsin Idea
